![]() ![]() It looks like a nice program, but I really don't want to be fighting an interface in a program that you have to pay for. Then I had to drag them again to contract them. ![]() As it was, I had to manually drag each to expand them. It would be nice to be able to expand all the tracks vertically with some keyboard modifier + mouse wheel. That backing track didn't come out too well on the recording, so I'm adding it in as an audio track. I'm working on one now where I recorded a music performance live. ![]() For instance, suppose I want to match up an audio track with a video track. The use case here is, sometimes I need to see the audio wave. I have grown acustomed to being able to expand or contract all tracks vertically in other software I use. I don't care if you have to use shift, control, shift+control, or whatever to enable horizontal scroll with the mouse wheel, but for goodness sake, something should enable it.Īdditionally, there does not seem to be a way to easily expand each track vertically. I really hope, because the user setting was already there in XnView, that it is not too complicated to copy it to the XnViewMP sources, and keep offering this feature.ĮDIT : oh, and very practical, the up/down keys also scroll by this value.I was just checking out the free trial and saw that the timeline could not be horizontally scrolled with the mouse. I would have stayed with XnView and everything was fine, but unfortunately, XnView does not support Unicode characters in the path, and XnViewMP does. Furthermore, with images of this size (30856x1704 pixels), scroll steps are too small to get from top to bottom with reasonable mouse/key use. With all other programs, including XnViewMP, the small scrolling steps challenge the eyes to locate the frames again and again, making the obervation more tedious. XnView, to my knowledge, is the only image viewer with the option to set the vertical scroll to achieve this effect. I estimate these thumbsheets very high to quickly browse movies or my own holiday digicam clips, and have thousands of them. The example is a video thumbsheet created with an Avisynth script. I do not know any other image viewer to do this with. This gives a very ergonomic viewing experience. Unrivaled Compatibility: XnView MP supports more than 500 image formats (including Multipage and animated still formats APNG, TIFF, GIF, ICO, etc.) and export to about 70 different file formats. Aber opening XnViewMP and navigating to a folder, I can use the arrow keys to navigate through pictures and videos. I just stumbled oder 2 issues that make life unnecessary hard on the mac: 1.) Keyboard unusable. the thumbnail lines do not drift up or down while you scroll, but the 4 thumbnail lines (1920x1080) stay at their positions. Im new to XnViewMP but quite skilled with software in general. Note that the thumbnail positions remain fixed, i.e. set to 100% zoom and press Ctrl+Home to browse the image from top, or Ctrl+End to browse it from bottom. ![]() set vertical scroll to 232 and mousewheel to hover in image (rather than switching between files) in XnView, use a 1920 width monitor (or imagine you use one), To better understand the reason for my suggestion, please I'd like to be able to set the vertical scroll amount in XnViewMP, as it is possible in XnView (settings, ouse, scroll value). When you download the program be sure to scroll down to the section of the XN page where it directs you on how to Download XnView MP in various formats. ![]()
